Power Hot Rod Reunion 2014

Last Saturday me and my buddy Michael went down to Malmby Fairground, located 1 hour from Stockholm city or something, as always a bad ass event with a huge amount of kick ass cars. BUT! it was hot, soooo damn hot i burned my neck and my head baaaad. i was thinking of filming the hole thing but it was to hot so pictures will have to do.

Scandinavian Cal-look Classic 2012 (The Rainy Saturday)

Well! super late on Friday night me and 3 buddies decided to go to Norway for the Scandinavian Cal-look Classic 2012, it´s a 6-7 hour ride from our town to Gardermoen raceway, the weather forecast said rain but HEY! let’s go anyways 🙂

When we got there, it was…………..wait for it………..wait for it………………………RAIN! 🙂

There where no racing, so then i had time to walk around taking pictures and stuff =)

Readers Ride: Blake Weddington’s 1959 Ford F100

For some reason i found two readers ride emails in the spam folder today.
The first one was from Blake Weddington, and as soon as i started to flip to the pictures i saw something really cool that i liked, but it wasn’t his Ford F100, although i love the ride and have a lot of love for early/mid 60’s F100/trucks like the American Restoration episode i wrote about a couple of months ago. NO! it was the gray bicycle standing on the bed. Blake if could, i would let you build one for me. 🙂

I let Blake tell the story in his own words.

“My name is Blake Weddington. I live in los angeles california and bought this truck stock in Feb 2012. I found it on a farm in dinuba california and shipped it back to los angeles. it now has new interior, independant front suspension power steering and disc brakes rear step notch and parallel 4 link. air bagged all the way around. cheap wooden bed. i built. also, I built the motor bike in the bed of the truck and its a lowrider built off a felt frame chopped and lowered. My “dream”

Well with my budget the next years to come an old falcon is problably the only american ride i can afford, I almost bought one last year, but that didn’t happen so hopefully this time next year i have a car to build on.

I did a little photoshop on a picture i found on the web, my PS skills isn’t the best so this will have to do for now, it needs lacing on the roof and more done on the side panels but you get the idea.
