Project Coffee Glider Part 1

So i haven’t had a hobby car in 3 years, and if you are unemployed like i am, it is hard to find the money to buy a car. But with some help from good friends anything is possible.

So now i am the happy owner of a fenderless 1961 beetle with some unstylish 80´s modifactions.

So here it is.

It ain’t pretty 🙂 but it’s a good and solid and almost rust”free” car. Some idiots in the 1980´s thought it was a good idea to put a plastic panel over the dashboard, now it’s gone but there is some nasty holes that needs welding.

The car is converted to 12 volts, but the wiring looks really nasty, should be fun to sort out 🙂

As soon as i get the car to my buddy’s garage, then i will start taking out the interior, or whats left of it.

the original paint is Jupiter Gray, so i will go for something like this.

Project: Douchebag 2.0 (Part 1)

A couple of years ago i built a little musicbag that i could carry with me if i wanted to. To be honest it hasn’t seen as mutch sun that i would liked. But HEY! it´s fun to build, right? =)

The Douchebag 1.0

it sounds great. BUT! you know you can do better.

So this is the stuff i’m going to use for Douchebag 2.0

Now to the box, i built it so it can fit behind the backseat of an old VW beetle.

Strap it with some fake leather. It came out pretty good, little bit to tight between some of the letters to make the leather stuck but it works.

the first front didn’t come out that good, so i straped it with some burberry fabric, but that didn’t get that good either, now i’m making a new one, check back later this week to see the result of that.

Herbie has find a new home

My buddy Andreas Åberg sold his race beetle a couple of months ago to New Zealand. and now the car was displayed at the 2013 NZ 4&ROTARY NATIONALS, still looking badass. It’s 2 picture up on Speedhunters of it.

And the info from Speedhunters on the pictures.

“At the other end of the spectrum is the vintage VW scene. New Zealand’s always been a little behind the eight ball when it comes to modified – as opposed to faithfully restored – Beetles, Buses and the like. Hopefully this recent Swedish import, a modern-built Pro Stock adaption of ‘Herbie’, might inspire a few people into action though, because it’s seriously cool.”

Scandinavian Cal-look Classic 2012 (The Rainy Saturday)

Well! super late on Friday night me and 3 buddies decided to go to Norway for the Scandinavian Cal-look Classic 2012, it´s a 6-7 hour ride from our town to Gardermoen raceway, the weather forecast said rain but HEY! let’s go anyways 🙂

When we got there, it was…………..wait for it………..wait for it………………………RAIN! 🙂

There where no racing, so then i had time to walk around taking pictures and stuff =)
